Ardent in the community

2021 was a milestone year for many reasons. The Ardent Team were excited to have achieved an early goal of being able to contribute towards community-based programmes, and we are looking forward to sharing these stories with our Ardent Community. Our team was thrilled to donate both time and support to the following two events in December 2021.

On the 20th of December 2021, the Ardent Team had the honour of supporting 40-60 family members staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Christchurch. We welcomed the opportunity to cook for, dine with, and interact with the family members supporting their children and extended family members navigating through various stages of cancer. Our team were simultaneously prepped and humbled amidst the opportunity to provide even just a glimpse of support and encouragement for others.

Throughout the month of December, we worked with a local community school, to support families who are in need of new school uniforms, bring-your-own-device [BYOD] requirements from school, as well contributing further supportive efforts, which can be needed throughout the strain of the holiday season. While we recognise the substantial need for further, on-going support among certain areas of the community, we do not mind going with a little less, so that others can have a little more.
