Passive fire protection covers a wide range of industry sectors, servicing new build and refurbishment projects across all sectors, commercial construction, healthcare, education, accommodation and more.

We work either directly for the client/end-user or through main contractors, and we are a nationwide service provider.

We have several training options and or qualification the ardent team is working through at any given time.

All field/office staff complete certificate of competency training by independent 3rd party training group. We have field staff either completed or enrolled in NZQA Passive Fire Protection Level 3 Certificate qualifications.

We currently have office/field teams enrolled and working towards NZQA Passive Fire Level 4 Certificate qualifications.

Ardent currently holds passive fire installer accreditation with the Canterbury District health Board [CDHB], as well as the same accreditation with the Capital & Coast District Health Board [CCDHB]

Ardent holds current accreditations regarding passive fire protection.

  • Canterbury District Health Board [CDHB] – passive fire installer programme – since 2019
  • Capital & Coast District Health Board [CCDHB] – passive fire installer programme – since 2020
  • Approved passive fire installer on Ministry of Education [MOE] projects.
  • Listed approved specialist passive fire protection subcontractor in open market project specifications.
